NEWS FLASH: Tinubu has resumed official duties at the State House.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially commenced his duties at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Following a brief reception on the forecourt of the Presidential Villa, he proceeded to a closed-door meeting with Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and Mele Kyari, the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

The meeting, currently underway at the State House, includes Vice President Kashim Shettima among its attendees. While the specific agenda of the meeting remains unclear, it coincides with the reemergence of fuel queues following President Tinubu's recent announcement of the suspension of subsidies on fuel products during his inauguration.

As the President assumes his official duties, addressing the issue of fuel scarcity and formulating effective strategies to manage the situation may be a priority for the administration. The closed-door meeting with key figures in the financial and petroleum sectors suggests a concerted effort to address the challenges facing the fuel industry and find solutions to ensure a smooth supply of fuel across the country.
