The four Chinese citizens quarantined in Plateau State for
coronavirus, have tested negative to the flu-like virus.
Recall LIB reported that the Plateau state government
announced on Saturday February 29, that four suspected cases were quarantined.
Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire who served an update at a
press briefing on Monday March 2, confirmed that the four suspected cases
tested negative to the deadly disease. He further disclosed that the state
health officials took a precuationary measure of placing the Chinese citizens
on supervised isolation for 14 more days.
Ehanire said;
"None of these cases have any symptoms and they have
all been tested at the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control reference laboratory.
They are all negative for coronavirus infection.
“We will continue to monitor the global situation with cases
spreading quickly in countries as they are doing now."
