Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, says the second
confirmed case of Coronavirus in Nigeria has tested negative. Recall that on
Monday March 9th, the Minister announced that a Nigerian man who had contact
with the Italian man who is the index case of the virus in Nigeria, tested
positive. The Nigerian man met with the Italian man in Ewekoro, Ogun state.
At a press briefing today, Ehanire said recent tests shows
the Nigerian man is now free of the virus. He also announced that all those who
had contact with the Italian man, have completed their follow up period and
have been certified free to rejoin the society.
