Majek Fashek's manager, Umenka Uzoma Day, has explained that
the legendary Nigerian musician is not dead contrary to some media reports.
According to him, 'Majek Fashek is very sick as we are
currently at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolich in England'.
He went on to say, 'sorry this message is coming late, but let us all
support him with prayers as we also really Need support financially for upkeep.

Majek Fashek otherwise known as ‘the rain maker’ is still
regarded as one of Nigeria's living legends. After a long hiatus occasioned by
some health and spiritual challenges, he bounced back 3 years ago and released
an album titled “Weep not children”.
