IPOB members have explained why they attacked former deputy
senate president at a function in Nurnberg, Germany today Saturday August 17th.
Ike Ekweremadu, the immediate past Deputy Senate president,
was humiliated by suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)
at a function in Nuremberg,.
In a video shared by Radio Biafra, the aggrieved Biafrans
say they are against their leaders celebrating New Yam festival in Germany when
their indigenes back home are being killed, raped and attacked by Fulani
herdsmen.
''They are killing your people and you are here celebrating
yam festival. They are killing your people, raping your women, Fulani, and you
are here you want to celebrate Yam. God will punish all of you'' 0ne of the
aggrieved Biafrans said
Ekweremadu who served as Deputy Senate President from 2007
to 2019, was re-elected for the fifth
consecutive time as the Senator representing Enugu West senatorial district in
the 2019 elections.
