Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA church is back to the pulpit weeks
after he stepped down following multiple accusations of sexual assault.
The founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly announced
via Instagram on July 1 that he will be taking a "leave of absense from
the pulpit of the church". He added in his statement then that stepping
down will "enable me to submit to the concerns of my spiritual mentors as
they consider all the issues that have been raised against me" (read
here).
It hasn't been stated if Fatoyinbo's "spiritual
mentors" have considered the issues raised against him and what
conclusions they have arrived at but Biodun Fatoyinbo returned to the pulpit 1
month after he stepped down.
Video shared today from his church in Abuja shows members
rejoicing and giving him a rousing welcome as he mounted the pulpit. The
screaming went on for quite a while before the church calmed and he began
preaching about "sudden victories".
COZA's official Twitter handle tweeted some key points from
his preaching today.
As a Christian, you must face opposition. If God who is God,
holy and faithful as He has enemies, you are sure going to also.

COZA adds: "But one thing we ought to note as believers
is that; Christ has won the victory for us, so when the fight comes, we fight
from victory and not for victory.

"This is that which the Holy Spirit described as a good
fight. Fight a good fight of faith with a winning mentality 'cos we don't fight
for victory but we fight from victory.
Biodun Fatoyinbo's preaching also touched on Ephesian 6:12.
He said:
The enemy is smart, the first step he takes to bring down a
believer doing exploits is an investigation. He goes into an investigation to
find what can bring you down.
