President Buhari will present the 2019 budget proposal
before the National Assembly on Wednesday December 19th. This was announced in
a letter read on the floor of the house of representatives by the speaker,
Yakubu Dogara, today Thursday December 13th.
“May I crave the kind indulgence of the House of
Representatives to grant me the slot of 11 hours on Wednesday, 19th December,
2018 to formally present the 2019 appropriation bill in a joint session,” the letter
read.
Recall that the Federal government had a special Federal
Executive Council meeting last week Friday December 7th and the 2019 budget was
approved for presentation to the National Assembly.
